Depression/Anxiety

Depression is a real thing and reaching out for help to cope with the symptoms you’ve been struggling with is, to me, a sign of strength. I say this because I believe that it takes strength and courage to admit that one needs help and can no longer handle the burden alone. So if you’ve been dealing with things such as sleep problems, either too much or too little; have noticed a loss of interest in hobbies/activities that you once enjoyed; you’re choosing to spend much of your time alone rather than with friends/family; trouble concentrating and/or making decisions; irritable towards those around you; feelings of helplessness and/or hopelessness; or you’ve had thoughts of harming yourself, than I want to help you dismantle that heavy burden you’ve been carrying alone.

Oftentimes, although not always, depression is accompanied by anxiety and again, I want to say that anxiety is a real thing, not just simply worrying too much as some may say. If you’ve been finding yourself feeling more worried or panicked about things throughout much of your day; find yourself experiencing physical symptoms along with your worry/panic, such as headaches, stomachaches, digestive upset, sweaty palms, racing heart, feelings of shortness of breath, or the fear of losing control than you may be dealing with anxiety.

Life is stressful and can feel overwhelming at times and for some, those times are more frequent and intense than they can handle by themselves. If you feel like you can relate to this than maybe it’s time to reach out a hand for help and know that you don’t have to try to navigate this alone. Please give me a call so that we can discuss your struggles and determine how best to move forward in getting you feeling better!
